Zulu Love Letters in years gone by were traditional African beaded messages given by Zulu maidens to their lovers as symbols of their love and affection, each bead color conveyed a different message. In the modern era, Zulu love letters are now often made with images of importance to create love, hope, and awareness, eg Zulu love letters with a beaded Rhino as a symbol to create awareness for these endangered animals....the actual bead color is now of less importance. All our Zulu love letters are made by highly skilled African beadwork women from the rural areas of South Africa.
