The grass mats are used as an inner "lining" - the roof thatch is placed above.

Please note the grass mats are NOT a substitute for the roof thatch, they are an inner lining below the roof thatch.

Handmade by the Zulu grass weavers of South Africa using naturally harvested grass.

Grass mats are handmade using 100 % natural grass and contain no treatment of any kind. These grass mats are ideally suited for indoor purposes only.
